Justin Timberlake appeared on Oprah’s Master Class series on Sunday and spoke out on his decision on going solo from iconic boy band *N Sync.
The now 33 year old singer spoke out on the difficulties of having an urge to do more with his career and going solo 11 years after his decision of going solo in 2003 saying,
“I would wake up every morning feeling this more and more of an urge to step out on my own and try my own hand as a musician just by myself. What are you doing? Why wouldn’t you ride this out? You’re the biggest group in the world. Why would you walk away from this? It’s one of the best slash worst things I have ever done because it was bittersweet. It was hard to say goodbye to that era, but I felt it changing. I felt music changing. And I felt myself changing.”

I don’t mean to be a downer for *N Sync, however, I think Justin made the right decision.
The last time *N Sync was seen together publicly was in 2013 in downtown Manhattan at Jay Z’s VMA after party following the VMA’s and the groups amazing performance during the show itself. Justin is still currently touring… solo.
“It was hard to say goodbye to that era, but I felt it changing,” he said. “I felt music changing. And I felt myself changing.”
