WATCH: Time-Lapsed Videos Conducting CTA Trains (Red, Blue, Brown, and Orange Line Trains)
The Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) has released high definition video of the ride on Red Line trains (a train route connecting the North and South side of the city) from the conductor’s perspective.
On an average day, there are about 2,200 train trips that stop at all of the 145 CTA stations servicing eight rail lines. Over 200,000,000 rides were taken in 2013, according to the CTA’s Annual Ridership report.
The videos are the transit system’s attempt to assist tourist and citizens how to use the rail system.
