Janet Jackson Returns to the Stage, Opens ‘Unbreakable’ World Tour

Janet Jackson at the opening of her ‘Unbreakable’ World Tour on August 31, 2015.

After a four year hiatus from being a recording artist and a performer, Janet Jackson has finally hit the stage again finally opening up her Unbreakable World Tour in a near sold out Rogers Arena crowd in Vancouver on August 31st, 2015.

I know some of you have been waiting a loooooong time for this, and the night went successfully.

Although Janet’s Unbreakable album still has no release date, the 49 year old beauty proved that she can still get down on the stage performing old hits such as ‘Nasty’ ‘Feedback’, ‘Control’, and ‘All For You’ and also gave fans a brand new song featuring Missy Elliott. No title is known for the song, however speculation is pointing towards the title being ‘Burn It Up’.

Janet was greeted by a deserving and overwhelming response from the crowd which drove the superstar to tears.

She slayed long flowing curls like we are used to seeing from Janet, but oddly, she only wore one outfit for the entire show. I personally don’t have a comment on this outfit, but we all know it could have been worse. The fact that there are no outfit changes gives me ‘finale tour’ tease. This could possibly be the end of Janet’s performing era.

Janet has three Chicago dates lined up set at State Street’s Chicago Theatre on Nov. 3,4, and the 6. Good luck getting tickets to the already sold out shows…

Here’s a clip of the new song with Missy Elliott, the full videos being uploaded online are being taken down, so here’s a fan’s clip from Instagram.

and here’s a video of some clips from the night!
