The Best and Worst of Cannes 2016

It is that time of the year again, so you know what that means; fabulous fashion as well as fashionable failures at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival.

Lets start off of a positive note, and there was nothing more positive hitting the red carpet than Blake Lively. The mommy and movie star did anything but disappoint when it came to delivering three show stopping looks for Cannes.

Looking sexy and sophisticated in this sequin off the shoulder blue gown (left) Blake looks absolutely chic, and her body looks amazing considering those baby rumors flying around. In The second look we have for blake she’s giving total Disney princess vibes (center), and it is very fun change from the sleek and sexy blue gown. Love her hair up and pushed away from her face adding elegance to such a whimsical dress. Lastly we have Miss. Lively in this form-fiting sequin gown (right). Smolderingly sexy are the first two words that come to mind when I see the starlet in this look. Looking very reminiscent of a young Kate Hudson the wifey of Ryan Reynolds completely shuts down the carpet with this look.

Some other stars that popped out for Cannes and rocked the red carpet were Victoria Beckham, Kendall Jenner, Bella Hadid, and of course the Clooney’s.

We all know that where there is good there always has to be some bad. Unfortunately that does not change for Cannes. Two stars totally took the cake in the red carpet flop department were Chloe Sevigny (left) and Kristen Stewart (right).

Both stars did Chanel a disservice on the carpet for Cannes. Lets start off with Chloe; I will say she was set up to fail from the start. Starting from the shoes, to the clutch, to the hair. She’s a little messy looking, and it just doesn’t give the message I think Chanel was going for and she completely miss the mark. Moving on the Kristen is a completely different story. The actress went out of her way to make this classic Chanel look come across cheap. The actresses I don’t care attitude definitely comes across in this look, and it’s a complete let down. This is the cannes red carpet not the mall; with that said let us know what you think of these looks, and who you think we missed!
